What is a lanair waste oil heater?

A Lanair waste oil heater burns waste oil and produces heat, supplementing or replacing existing heating systems in commercial or industrial establishments. It produces no smoke or odor when properly installed and adjusted, and only authorized fuels are burned.

As of February 2015, California, Massachusetts and New York City ban the burning of waste oil. New Jersey requires a permit. Lanair heaters are approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under the conditions that the heater burns only waste oil generated by the owner, the combustion gases vent to ambient air, and the heater has a maximum capacity of no more than 500,000 BTU per hour.
