China's latitude and longitude is 35° N and 105° E. China is surrounded by the Korea Bay, East China Sea, South China Sea and Yellow Sea.
China is located in both the northern and eastern hemispheres and occupies a huge part of eastern Asia. The country is bordered by 14 countries: North Korea, Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma, Laos and Vietnam. China measures 5,963,274 square miles in area. The terrain is saturated with cliffs and escarpments as well as highlands. The western part of China is desert land, while the eastern region is characterized by rocks, plains and deltas.
