What does length multiplied by width equal?
By Forinfos - 08/08/2025 - 0 comments
Length multiplied by width equals the area of a rectangle. The formula for this geometric calculation is A = L x W. A stands for area, L for length and W for width. This is one of the most basic geometric equations.
A rectangle is defined as quadrilateral. All of the interior angles, of which there are four, are at 90 degrees. Opposite sides of a rectangle are considered to be parallel and congruent. In other words, opposite sides of a rectangle run in the same direction as the other and are set at the same angle in relationship to one another.
