How do you light a Vulcan stove?

To light a Vulcan stove, turn the main gas supply and top burner valve knobs on. This purges the gas line of air. Next, turn the knobs off, and wait 30 seconds. Light the pilot, then turn one top burner valve on. Turn the burner off once gas is flowing.

If the pilots do not light, wait for five minutes, and then repeat the steps to light the stove. When the burner valve is turned off, the pilot remains lit. In order to turn the stove off completely, turn the burner valve off, then turn the main gas valve off.
