Where do you find a list of GM ignition recalls?

GM provides a running list of all recalls issued after August 20, 1999 on the GM Recall Center website. Alternatively, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration provides a list of recalls and a VIN lookup tool on its site.
According to company policy, GM sends out a written notice to the owners of affected vehicles within 60 days of issuing a recall. Customers who did not receive a notice can also find recall information by contacting a certified service dealer or authorized Saab service center.
Recalls are issued by VIN number. A vehicle's VIN number no longer appears in the system once repairs have been completed.
