Is liver disease related to alcoholism and binge drinking?

All three diseases affect the way the liver can process foods and drinks, and all three can vary in severity. These liver diseases all may progress over time, and they can be aggravated even more by heavy drinking. For this reason, its crucial that patients with any of these liver diseases stop drinking alcohol immediately.
