Canada Post provides an online Find an Address tool to find a postal code for a Canadian address. Users can enter a valid Canadian postal code into the search bar at CanadaPost.ca and receive full address information for that postal code.
Canadian postal codes use six characters in which the first three characters are separated from the last three by a space. The first three characters use the format of an alphanumeric character, followed by a numeric character, then an alphanumeric character. After the space, the last three characters are numeric character, alphanumeric character, then a numeric character. An example of a valid Canadian postal code is A0G 1A0.
