"Noticiero Univision" has been on the air for the last 34 years, as of 2015. The newscast's first television program aired on June 1,1981, and since then it has been delivering the news to Spanish-speaking Americans on a daily basis.

When the show was first launched it was originally called "Noticiero Nacional SIN," but the title was changed to "Noticiero Univision" in 1987 when the network also switched to its current name, "Univision," from the "Spanish International Network."

The broadcast is still shown on the Univision network, which is based in Doral, Florida. "Noticiero Univision" is a popular evening news source that is ranked as one of the top Hispanic news programs in America.
