How long does Splat hair dye last?

When Splat hair colors are applied as directed, they last at least 6 weeks. For best results, the lightening bleach should be used before the color is applied. The lighter the hair is before Splat is applied, the more vibrant the final color.

Even after the Splat shade fades, the hair retains its bleached color. A slight tint of the Splat color sometimes sticks around as well. Bleach is not necessary before dying; however, the color is far less intense without bleach, and it fades much faster.

Washing the hair and swimming both help the Splat color fade. The chlorine in a pool does not affect the color; the water in the pool simply helps wash Splat out of the hair.
