How long are SunPass toll passes good for?

A Florida SunPass has no expiration date. Instead of buying a pass for a particular time frame, users open an account with a minimum funding requirement of $10. The SunPass emits a beeping sound when the balance is low and needs refilling.
The SunPass is a battery-powered transponder that links to a prepaid debit account. The transponder sits on a vehicle's dashboard and records transactions as the vehicle passes through toll booths. Drivers can move a SunPass between vehicles, as long as both vehicles have the same number of axles. The SunPass Mini model affixes to the windshield and requires no batteries, but it can't transfer between vehicles.
