How long does it typically take to learn Dance Mat Typing?

The amount of time it takes to learn Dance Mat typing varies and depends largely on how fast a child moves through the 12 stages of the Dance Mat program. Each stage requires that the student pass a test before advancing to the next stage.

The Dance Mat typing program is specifically geared toward elementary-aged children and uses animated animal characters that verbally interact with the kids, colorful graphics and music as ways to encourage them to finish each stage quickly. With each stage completion, the children are praised by the characters and given a certificate to mark their accomplishments.
