How long will it take for UPS to ship if it says "out for delivery"?

When a UPS package status says "out for delivery," it should be delivered on the same business day. UPS delivers to residential addresses on Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., and to businesses during normal business hours.

Each UPS package is assigned a tracking number when it is shipped. This tracking number allows UPS customers to view the location of the package and its estimated delivery date. Customers can create a My UPS login to allow even more options. With a login, customers can reschedule a delivery, hold a package for pickup and get e-mail updates on package status.
