By Forinfos - 14/04/2026 - 0 comments
In adults, a normal resting heart rate may be anywhere between 60 and 100 beats per minute, according to Mayo Clinic. In general, people with lower heart rates have healthier cardiovascular systems.
A lower heart rate typically signifies that a person is in good cardiovascular health, as stated by Mayo Clinic. People with lower heart rates tend to have more efficient heart functions. Factors that may influence a person's heart rate include activity level, body position, emotions, body size and medications. Athletes with high activity levels typically have lower heart rates, while people who are sedentary may have higher heart rates.
