A lyretail guppy is a type of guppy with a caudal fin that juts out on both the top and the bottom to resemble a lyre. Lyretail guppies are often put on display in fish shows because of their unique fin shape.

Guppies, also known as million fish or rainbow fish, are one of the most popular freshwater aquarium species. They are also one of the most widely distributed types of tropical fish. Guppies are native to northeast South America, but they are now found all over the world following their introduction to many different habitats. The fish adapt well and thrive in a variety of environments.
