Does Lysol kill scabies eggs?

Lysol and other disinfectants may be used to kill scabies mites on hard household surfaces. However, bedding and clothing must be machine-washed and dried using the hottest cycles available or dry-cleaned, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The CDC recommends that all carpeting that may have been exposed to the mites be thoroughly vacuumed to prevent re-exposure and re-infestation.
Scabies mites and eggs do not survive more than two or three days away from human skin. Items that cannot be washed can be decontaminated by isolating them from human contact in closed plastic bags for a minimum of 72 hours.
