What is a Macerator toilet?

Macerating toilets use a blade to liquefy human waste. The waste is then softened and broken into pieces. As the toilet flushes, the waste is then mixed with water and sent into the sewer system.
Mascerating toilets have a chamber that has one or multiple blades. When the toilet is flushed, the human waste is then sent into this chamber, where the blades liquify the human waste. The timing of the motor for the mascerating is generally no more than 10 or 15 seconds and therefore does not waste much power. The water flushes the waste and water out like a normal toilet.
