Do all major airlines offer ticket confirmation online?

As of 2015, virtually all the major airlines offer online check-in through their websites. Passengers who go to an airline's home page should choose a link such as "My Trips" to confirm a flight they have already booked.

To complete online confirmation, passengers need to input their names as well as the confirmation number or record locator. This is a six-character code unique to each reservation. It appears on the screen after the passenger completes the initial booking, and it also appears in the confirmation email. After entering those items, the passenger often has the option to choose or change seats and pay in advance for checked baggage.
