Egypt is located in the northern region of Africa, sharing its borders with Israel, Sudan, Libya and the Gaza Strip. It is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. Egypt is the site of one of the ancient wonders of the world, the Great Pyramid of Giza.
