How do you make a cursive "I"?

To write an uppercase letter "I" in cursive script, start at the bottom, and make a loop to the top. Draw a tail on the left side of the loop.

1. Start at the bottom

   Start at the bottom line. Draw a curved line up to the top line to form the left side of a loop.

2. Finish the loop

   Draw the other half of the loop. Your pencil ends up back at the bottom line to the left of the loop.

3. Draw the tail

   Continue drawing the second loop line up to the middle line. Then, draw a small line going to the right toward the loop.
