How do you make donations to Goodwill?

To make a donation to Goodwill, take your items to a local Goodwill location near you or drop off the items at a local Goodwill donation box. Items that have been recalled, banned or otherwise prohibited are not accepted. Contact your local Goodwill agency for information regarding specific banned items.

Check all items to ensure they are in working order and have all of the parts. For clothing, check each piece to make sure it is free from rips, stains or tears. Larger and more valuable items, such as computers, bed frames, mattresses and other furniture, may require prior approval from the Goodwill location before making the donation.
