To make red raspberry tea, buy dried leaves or a tea blend that contains red raspberry leaves. Steep the tea in boiling water for approximately 10 minutes, and serve it warm or cold. Drink the tea unsweetened or sweeten it to taste if desired.
- Buy red raspberry leaves
Buy dried red raspberry leaves from a local grocery or health food store, a tea shop or an online vendor. Alternatively, harvest fresh leaves from red raspberry bushes if they are available. Allow fresh leaves to dry in a single layer on a baking sheet placed in a sunny spot for several days or until they are shriveled.
- Boil water
Place a kettle or pot of water on the stove and bring it to a boil over medium-high or high heat. While waiting for the water to boil, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried leaves per cup to a teapot or a tea strainer.
- Steep red raspberry leaves
Pour 1 cup of boiling water for each cup of tea being made over the dried leaves. Allow the tea to steep for approximately 10 minutes.
- Serve the tea
Sweeten the tea to taste with sugar, honey or an alternative sweetener if desired. Drink it while it's warm, or pour it over ice.
