Which manufacturer makes the GEM electric car?

The company Polaris manufactures the GEM, or Global Electric Motorcars, line of electric vehicles. GEM's model line includes two-, four- and six-person passenger vehicles and high- and low-speed utility vehicles with up to 1,400 pounds of cargo capacity.

Customers can use the GEM section of Polaris' website to research, build and purchase GEM vehicles. Alternatively, the website provides a dealer locator tool that customers can use to find and contact GEM dealers near their specific locations.

GEM vehicles are entirely electric. Customers can charge them off of a standard 110 volt outlet, and each vehicle, when fully charged, has a range of between 30 and 45 miles.
