As of 2015, Guizhou Tyre Co. Ltd, a Guiyang-based tire manufacturer, is the producer of Samson tires. The company distributes Samson tires in the United States through its fully-owned subsidiary company, GTC North America, Inc. in Canton, Ohio, and possesses various certifications, including ISO9001, American NHTS DOT Certification and ISO14001.

In addition to Samson tires, Guizhou Tyre Co. Ltd also manufactures the Advance brand and is also the OE supplier for a range of heavy equipment manufacturing companies. The company states that it employs over 9,000 employees in various global locations and annually produces over 5.8 million tires in over 1,000 sizes.
