How many Magic Mart stores are located throughout the U.S.?

Magic Mart owns and operates 21 stores across Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina, as of 2015. Originally a small town store, Magic Mart expanded into mid-sized markets in 2003.

Magic Mart traces its history to the founding of the first Ammar Brothers' Department Store in 1920 in Williamson, West Virginia. The three Ammar brothers emigrated from Syria to the United States in 1911 in order to freely practice their Christian beliefs. In 1967, the brothers opened the first Magic Mart location in Grundy, Virginia. The transition to the Magic Mart name ended when the last of the Ammar Brothers' locations closed in 1974.
