How many online courses does ServSafe offer?

ServSafe offers four courses online: ServSafe Manager, ServSafe Alcohol, ServSafe Allergens and Texas FoodGuard. Some courses, such as ServSafe Food Handler, must be taken at a specific location versus online.

Many of the courses available online allow the student to just take the exam or include both training and the exam. Proctors are allowed to administer exams up to eight times per month for most courses. SafeServ was created by the National Restaurant Association to provide training to restaurant and food service professionals. The SafeServ courses give the food industry workforce a distinction that is recognized in the industry and assist in training for employers.
