How do you view maps of city boundaries on Google Maps?

Display the boundaries of a city in Google Maps by entering the name or ZIP code of any state, city or municipality into the Google Maps search bar and clicking on the search button. Google Maps displays the city and its borders highlighted in pink inside the map view window.

Google Maps displays the boundaries of a city or state regardless of whether the map is being viewed in satellite or map mode. As you increase or decrease the zoom level, the map changes the way the borders of an area are highlighted, switching from highlighting only the borders in pink at higher zoom levels to highlighting the entire area contained within the borders at lower zoom levels.
