The Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program Web portal is an Internet site used to allow state Medicaid program administrators and health care facilities to exchange information with the federal government. Waiver applications and changes to state programs are processed through the Medicaid Web portal.

Medicaid services are delivered to patients through state and local programs. Individual states provide Web portals for Medicaid health care providers and patients within the state. Each state has a separate Web portal. Many of these portals allow providers and patients to apply for and verify coverage, check on status of claims and payments, and provide other forms and resources.
