The Soonercare Medicaid program covers many outpatient and inpatient medical services. It also offers prescription coverage, according to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. Some benefits are limited based on age or may require prior authorization.

The Soonercare program covers only medically necessary services, says the Oklahoma Health Care Authority website. In addition to medical care and drug coverage, it offers some dental benefits, mental health coverage, and pays for home health services and long-term care. It also pays for medical equipment, supplies, lab testing and x-rays. There are additional benefits available for children only, such as immunizations, eyeglasses and hearing aids.
