Are the Medicare provider websites accessible to people who use screen reading technology?

The Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services is legally required to make its services accessible to all individuals, regardless of disability. Contractors who provide Medicare services must make their websites accessible to low-vision and blind individuals by making them screen reader compatible.

If a Medicare provider's website is not screen reader compatible, the person should file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights.
