Who is Michael Strahan?

Michael Strahan is a retired American football player. He spent his entire 14-year National Football League career playing defensive end for the New York Giants.

In the 2001 season, Strahan recorded 22.5 sacks, an NFL record that still stands as of 2014. He amassed 141.5 sacks in his career to go with 854 tackles. Strahan was named to the Pro Bowl seven times and was named first-team All-Pro four times. He helped lead the Giants to a victory in Super Bowl 42 in his final season. Since retiring, Strahan has become a media personality. He serves as a football analyst for Fox Sports and as co-host of the American syndicated morning talk show "Live! with Kelly and Michael," as of 2014.
