Does Microsoft Excel come with free templates installed?

The 2010 and 2013 versions of Microsoft Excel come with several free templates already installed. These versions also offer the option to search for new templates from the application, though this requires an Internet connection.

Excel offers templates designed to perform a wide variety of functions. This includes a number of budgeting templates, resumes, calendars, planners, schedules, tracking tools and so much more. Each pre-formatted template serves a unique purpose. After selecting a template, a user edits the template like any other spreadsheet and saves it as its own unique file. The original template is unaltered and is available for repeated use.
