Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager software produced by Microsoft and is available as a part of the Microsoft Office suite. Outlook is most commonly used as an email application, but it also features a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note taking and even web browsing.
Microsoft Outlook can be used as a standalone application or as part of Microsoft Exchange Server for multiple users in a single entity, such as shared mailboxes in an organization. There are also add-ons that integrate Outlook with mobile devices and other software such as Skype. Additionally, Windows Phone can synchronize data to Outlook Mobile.
