Minecraft is a sandbox adventure game available on the PC. The game is available as a demo for free and as a full game for $26.95, as of 2015.

Minecraft gameplay focuses on the player exploring a 3D world made of textured blocks that can be broken and replaced. Players gather materials by breaking blocks then craft them into tools and other materials. Players must survive against monsters called "mobs" that spawn in dark spaces, making the nights especially dangerous, while maintaining a food supply to prevent their characters from starving to death. The open-world style allows players to set their own goals, whether battling their way through the mob-infested Nether region of the world, setting up a farm or building a mansion block by block.
