The U.S. Mint sells commemorative coins, proof sets, silver coins, gold coins and other coins online, as of 2015. Collectors can buy these products on the U.S. Mint website, USMint.gov, before they enter general circulation.
Popular proof sets include presidential $1 coins, America the Beautiful quarters and American eagle congratulatory coins. The 2015 commemorative coins features the March of Dimes and the U.S. Marshals Service.
To purchase coins from the U.S. Mint website, shoppers click on Shop and then Coins or Coin Programs. After selecting products, shoppers can add them to their virtual shopping bags and then proceed to checkout.
