What is mold toxicity?

According to Sponaugle Wellness Institute, mold toxicity is an illness that develops in individuals with high levels of indoor mold toxins in their systems. While many people produce antibodies when exposed to mold gases, some can't naturally create mold antibodies, which can lead to severe toxicity.
Mayo Clinic explains that while allergies to mold spores are common, toxic mold illnesses differ from mold allergies, due to the fact that allergies cause mild symptoms such as sneezing and watering eyes, while toxic mold illnesses cause flu-type symptoms, infections of the skin and pneumonia. Additional symptoms of mold toxicity can include vertigo, headaches, poor concentration and exhaustion.
