Is the moose on the Endangered Species List?

The moose is not on the Endangered Species List as of April, 2014.. However, in some areas, the moose population has dropped significantly. In Minnesota, the population dropped in 2013 from 4,000 to fewer than 100.
It is unknown what has caused the population drop in Minnesota. It is suggested that in New Hampshire the cause was a rise in the population of ticks, which cause anemia and itching. Flea-infested coats do not offer much protection in the winter and lead to hypothermia in the rain and cold.
States are funding scientists tracking of the moose since moose watching is a big industry, according to PawNation.
