  1. Pretreat the stain

    2. Right after noticing the motor oil stain, pour liquid laundry detergent on the stain. Use a small brush to work the detergent into the fiber of the soiled fabric.

  2. Prepare the washing machine

    3. Put the garment in the washer by itself or with other oily clothes. This is to prevent the motor oil from getting on unstained clothes. Set the water temperature as hot as possible.

  3. Wash and dry the clothing

    4. Let the washing machine run. If the stain is gone after one washing, dry the clothes normally. If the stain is still there, repeat the process.
