The exact one-time expense is calculated by multiplying the heater's wattage (2 kW), time of operation in hours and the price of one kWh. Daily cost of running the heater is calculated by similar formula - the wattage in this case is multiplied by the price of one kWh and the average number of hours the heater is running per day. Annual cost is calculated by multiplying daily cost and the number of days the heater is running in one year.
