Home health care nurses averaged $66,910, while nurses in doctor's offices made average annual salary of $62,850. In nursing homes, average pay was $62,010 per year. Among states, California paid the highest average annual salary at $96,980, and Hawaii was next at $85,380. Massachusetts nurses had the third-highest pay among states at an average of $83,720.
