Original Sauce Arturo gourmet sauce was a tomato-based Italian cooking sauce that came in 8-ounce cans. Once opened, unused tomato sauce products should be transferred to a glass or plastic container and refrigerated for up to seven days.
Manufactured by Carriage Foods for several generations, production of Sauce Arturo gourmet cooking sauce was discontinued by ConAgra in 2014.
Sauce Arturo gourmet sauce contained concentrated tomatoes, water, vinegar, high fructose corn syrup and soybean oil. Seasonings included mushrooms, salt, pepper, onion powder, red bell pepper and other flavors not named on the label. The sauce was not guaranteed to be gluten-free.
