What are Myott Son Co. stamp marks?

The most consistent stamp marks on pieces made by Myott, Son & Company are a gold crown and the company name. Pieces created during the Art Deco period display "Made in England," while pieces from the Art Nouveau period are marked "ENGLAND."

Most pieces are noted as being hand painted and have a unique serial number. The pattern number is usually included, as well. Some pieces also have B.A.G. Co. Ltd.; these pieces were produced during a collaboration with British American Glass.

Founded in 1898 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in the North of England, the company grew as brothers Ashley and Sydney continued to expand their offerings.
