Does NADA offer fair prices on used cars?
By Forinfos - 15/12/2025 - 0 comments
The vehicle prices offered by NADA are fair approximations, as all pricing comes from actual vehicle transaction data. NADA bases its vehicle pricing off of 1.5 million transactions per month, including retail sales, auction sales and classified listings.
NADA points out that any vehicle can sell for more or less than the prices listed. All prices are general estimates. Prices at dealerships may be higher than the guide due to the addition of dealer documentation fees. These fees refer to paperwork that the dealership completes for the buyer, such as titling and registration. Prices may also vary slightly by sales region or state.
