According to the Andalucia travel site, the closest airports to Marbella are Malaga and Gibraltar, both located approximately 37 miles from Marbella. Malaga is located to the east and Gibraltar is to the west of Marbella.

Travelers can get to Marbella from either the Gibraltar or Malaga airports by private car hire, taxi and public transportation. The drive from each airport to Marbella takes approximately 35 minutes, not accounting for traffic or stops, when driving the posted speed limits. Two additional airports in the Marbella region are the Jerez airport, located approximately 107 miles away, and the Granada airport, located approximately 105 miles from Marbella.
