What is a normal blood glucose range?
By Forinfos - 01/03/2025 - 0 comments
A normal blood glucose range is less than 100 milligrams per deciliter after fasting for a minimum of eight hours, and less than 140 milligrams per deciliter two hours after eating, according to WebMD. Blood sugar levels are generally at lower levels prior to meals.
Although a normal blood glucose range depends on the patient, for the average person who does not have high blood sugar, pre-meal levels are typically around 70 to 80 milligrams per deciliter, notes WebMD. However, 60 milligrams per deciliter can be normal for some people, and 90 milligrams per deciliter may be normal for others. Over time, high blood sugar levels can damage the body.
