Where is Norway located?

Norway is located in northern Europe, in the Scandinavian Peninsula. Norway shares its western border with the Atlantic Ocean, while also sharing a border with other Scandinavian countries like Finland and Sweden.

Norway is one of the northernmost countries on Earth. Due to its high latitude, the country has a cold climate with a significant amount of precipitation. During the peak of summer, the majority of the country has up to 20 hours of daylight per day, while during the peak of winter, there is often just over 4 hours per day. The biggest tourist attractions of Norway are its fjords.
