Does the official IRS website have sections that show what taxes are outstanding or owed?

The Internal Revenue Service does not have a section of IRS.gov for taxpayers to view the amount of taxes they owe, as of October 2015. Taxpayers can call the IRS to find out their current payoff amounts.
Individuals can find the IRS telephone number on tax bills they receive by mail. If taxpayers don't have any previous bills, they can find the telephone number by visiting IRS.gov and clicking on Payments. The automated phone system provides taxpayers with the amount of taxes they owe for different years. Callers can also hear how much in penalties and interest have been added to their original balances and to confirm any payments already applied to the taxes owed.
