What is an offset bar hanger?
By Forinfos - 23/03/2025 - 0 comments
An offset bar hanger, like a fixed bar hanger, is a brace or bar used to offset electrical boxes from studs and other wall components. Offset hangers provide a larger extension from the wall than fixed bar hangers, and their composition also allows for greater stability.
The brackets in bar hangers allow installers to move boxes even after the bar hangers are in place, making them a highly flexible component. They are often installed flush with ceiling joints.
Brackets are fixed in place through a variety of methods. These include rings, bolts and box clips, which all secure the brackets in place with different levels of flexibility and strength.
