How old was Noah?

Noah from the Bible was said to have lived until he was 950 years old, according to the book of Genesis. Of all patriarchs, Methuselah was noted as the oldest, who lived until he was 969 years old.

Within the 1,000 years following Noah and the flood, the Bible notes that the lifespan for man continued to decline. Moses, who lived to be 125 years old, was noted as living unusually long for his time. When he reflected on his life, he stated that this was unusual, since the lifespan at the time was about 70 or 80 years for man.
