Is there an online manual for CPT coding?

The American Medical Association provides a searchable online manual for current procedural terminology, or CPT, coding. It is not a manual that can be downloaded or printed, but rather it is used on the website.

To access the online CPT coding manual, visit the AMA website, and go the CPT relative value search page. Read through the terms and conditions, and accept them. There is no way to access the manual without accepting the terms. In order to search the manual, the user must select a state and five-digit CPT code or keyword. Click the Submit button after entering the requested information. The manual provides results based on the keywords entered.
