Who owns DC Shoes?

Quiksilver acquired the ownership of DC Shoes officially in 2004. At the time, DC Shoe lead the footwear market. Quiksilver provides a wide range of products including clothing, accessories and sun care.

Quiksilver was established in 1969 as a surfing retailer that offered wetsuits. In 1973, Quiksilver was put on the map with the creation of boardshorts. Quiksilver branched out into women's wear when it launched the ROXY line in America in 1991. DC Shoes was purchased in 2004 by Quiksilver to widen the products available to its customers. Quiksilver products are sold in America, Canada, Australia and other parts of the world.
